In the world today, sun is the most cost effective and efficient way to harness huge energy. Solar heating systems collect energy and use the energy into residences' own water needs. Generally, solar water heating system has the capacity to heat water up to 140 degree F or higher than that matching the range of its traditional hot water tank counterpart. Effective system can collect up to around 70% of sun's energy and ultimately that transfer it to you. Direct system can absorb the sun's heat and directly heat household water supply. The system consists of collector pipes filled up with water which are directly connected with the storage tanks placed inside the home. As soon as the sun heats the water inside the pipes, the water comes out from the storage tank. As direct systems are always more efficient and effective than that of the indirect ones, they require proper maintenance to keep the pipes clear from mineral deposits.
