© geocam20000The economy might be shell-shocked but innovation isn't standing still. There are some Indian companies with big exciting ideas that could be on the cusp of going really big. India as a nation has indeed failed quite miserably as far as electrification is concerned not only in rural but also in urban India. Nonetheless the hope of solving all these problems in one single stroke is no longer an impossible dream if only they can find an efficient way of converting all the solar energy into usable electrical energy in an economic manner. India has favorable climatic conditions for the development of solar energy due to the abundant sunshine and is considered good for harnessing energy from the sun.
Solar water heating system, where the water is heated by the use of solar energy, is much in vogue these days. Solar heating systems are generally composed of solar thermal collectors, a water storage tank or another point of usage, interconnecting pipes and a fluid system to move the heat from the collector to the tank. A solar water heating system serves a wide range of purposes and can get long-term economical benefits as it reduces the country's dependence on foreign oil and moreover it is environment friendly.
