Heat Your Home With Hydronic Heating System

Hydronic heating system uses hot water heated by a boiler to heat a space by a combination of radiation and convection. It is also known as radiant heating or baseboard heating system. The hot water, or alternative heated liquid, of the hydronic radiant heat system is circulated throughout the home through loops of plastic piping which are installed within the home's concrete slab so as to allow the heat to radiate evenly across the entire floor surface. The liquid is first heated in an energy efficient boiler and then it flows to a plumbing manifold system, which is connected to the thermostat and it directs the correct temperature of water to the various heating zones of the room thus maintaining a steady temperature all over.
The advantages are:
• Energy efficient
• Quiet
• Close temperature control
Some of the disadvantages are:
• Baseboard radiation or convection units must remain unobstructed and can provide challenges in furniture placement and drape design.
• Slow temperature increase.
• Air conditioning requires a separate ductwork distribution and cooling system.
